The leading wine subscription app on Shopify doesn’t have user choice clubs, subscription model clubs, doesn’t use auto credit card updater, and can't share a credit card with ecommerce or the POS to allow for members to pay with a card on file in the tasting room.
There are many different ways to structure your discounts to reward club members, and incentivize customers to upsell their orders. With Commerce7, you can optionally stack multiple discounts together to offer club members free shipping, and product discounts on their packages, or an additional discount if they add more bottles to the next package. All Commerce7’s discounts show upfront on products and subscriptions showing your customer the full incentive before they add to cart.

For American wineries, Commerce7 has native 5-digit zip code level tax rates provided by ShipCompliant free to all customers. Commerce7 also has integrations to compliance engines such as ShipCompliant and Avalara. While Shopify may have integrations to these platforms as well, it’s important to note that with Commerce7 compliance is always verified before an order is processed and payment is collected. With Shopify, compliance can only be checked after an order is processed and payment is collected. Changing vendors in the future
With Commerce7, you always own and have access to all your data. If you ever want to cancel your Commerce7 account, using our APIs you can easily migrate all your customer data out of the system. With our integrated payment partners, you can easily migrate your club member credit card tokens to your new vendor. With Shopify, if you’re using Shopify Payments, they own your customer credit cards and if you want to change vendors in the future, you cannot pull them out of the system and over to your new vendor without a court order.
